Grant Alexander（グラント・アレクサンダー）
Pixar Animation Studios（ピクサー・アニメーション・スタジオ）のスケッチ・アーティスト/キャラクター・デザイナー。アメリカ合衆国カンザス州出身。Academy of Art University（アカデミー・オブ・アート大学）に通い、ドローイング、ペインティング、デザインなどを学ぶ。Pixar Animation Studios（ピクサー・アニメーション・スタジオ）に入社し、Disney･Pixar短編映画『Partly Cloudy』（邦題：晴れ ときどき くもり）でキャリアをスタート。その後、Disney･Pixar映画『Cars 2』（邦題：カーズ2）、Disney･Pixar短編映画『Toy Story Toos: Partysaurus Rex』（邦題：レックスはお風呂の王様）、Disney･Pixar短編映画『Toy Story Toons: Small Fry』（邦題：ニセものバスがやって来た）、Disney･Pixarテレビ/短編『Toy Story of Terror』（邦題：トイ・ストーリー・オブ・テラー）、Disney･Pixarテレビ/短編『Toy Story that Time Forgot』（邦題：トイ・ストーリー 謎の恐竜ワールド）、Disney･Pixar映画『Inside Out』（邦題：インサイド・ヘッド）、Disney･Pixar映画『The Good Dinosaur』（邦題：アーロと少年）、そして、2017年11月アメリカ合衆国公開予定のDisney･Pixar映画『Coco』（ココ/日本国公開予定日・邦題未定）に参加。今後も短編・長編映画のプロジェクトに参加していく。
Grant Alexander began his career at Pixar Animation Studios on the short film “Partly Cloudy”. He has since contributed to films and shorts such as “Coco” (2017), “Cars 2”, “The Good Dinosaur”, “Inside Out”, “Toy Story Toons: Small Fry”, “Toy Story Toons: Partysaurus Rex”, “Toy Story of Terror”, “Toy Story that Time Forgot” and more. Though his roots are in the Midwest, he moved to San Francisco to study design, painting and drawing at the Academy of Art University. Grant Alexander is currently working as a character designer and sketch artist on several announced and unannounced feature film projects at Pixar Animation Studios.
